Our mission:
Prestwick Aircraft Maintenance GmbH is a German company and one of the six Heavy Aircraft Maintenance bases of PAML Group. We carry out maintenance on Ryanair’s entire fleet of the New Generation Boeing 737-800 aircraft at our hangar facility located at Hahn Airport, Germany.

As we continue to expand, we have an exciting opportunity at our base for the Aircraft Mechanic Trainee for our 12-week intensive training program at one of our maintenance facilities with intakes throughout 2025.

***Successful candidates will have the opportunity to upskill and pursue a career as a licensed Aircraft Engineer, earning up to € 70K per year. 

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Carrying out maintenance tasks as required
• Maintaining a high standard of work in all tasks
• Completing the appropriate documentation
• Complying with all company procedures, policies, regulations, and MOE
• Maintaining a safe and clean working environment
• Ensuring adherence to the company's Health and Safety policy
• Performing any other tasks as directed by the Supervisor/Manager

Your profile:
Requirements   • Graduated from a related field such as engineering or maintenance.
• Prior hands-on experience in engineering or aircraft maintenance is desirable.
• Flexible approach to working in a fast-changing environment.
• Ability to pass a full German security background check — Zuverlässigkeitsüberprüfung (ZÜP).
• Exhibit a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
• Applicants must have the unrestricted right to live and work in the European Union.
• Strong interpersonal and intercultural skills.
• Good knowledge of English (written and spoken); German is an advantage
