Who We’re Looking For
We need an Air Freight Specialist with hands-on experience managing end-to-end air shipments. This role requires someone who can independently manage shipment creation, documentation, carrier coordination, and tracking while ensuring SOP compliance.

What You'll Do:

Shipment Creation & Data Management: Create and manage air shipments in the Transportation Management System (TMS), including requesting and confirming bookings, ensuring accurate routing, charges, and milestone updates.

Carrier Coordination: Request bookings, confirm flight schedules, cut-off times, and routing with airlines and agents. Update TMS with verified information.

Exception Handling: Identify and resolve shipment discrepancies, escalating only when necessary.

Communication: Manage operational inboxes, respond professionally to internal teams and external partners, and ensure clear, timely updates.

Tracking & Milestone Management: Monitor air shipments, update milestones, and proactively flag delays or issues.

Documentation: Prepare, review, and manage air freight documents, including MAWB, HAWB, Bill of Lading, and Shipping Instructions. Validate completeness and accuracy.

Requirements – HARD MUST:

Minimum 1 year of direct, hands-on experience in air import and export operations.

Strong knowledge of air freight processes, SOPs, and milestone tracking.

Experience preparing MAWB/HAWB, BLs, SI, pre-alerts, and arrival notices.

Able to coordinate directly with airlines, agents, and partners independently.

Proficient in identifying issues, resolving exceptions, and escalating appropriately.

Advanced understanding of Incoterms, flight schedules, cut-offs, and consolidations.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Highly detail-oriented, with proven accuracy in TMS or similar systems.

Capable of managing multiple shipments in a fast-paced environment.

Philippines-based and able to work effectively in a remote regional team setup
