As an AIFM Risk Manager, you play a crucial role within a dynamic and motivated department dedicated to driving the growth and performance of the fundcraft brand. You oversee all risk management activities related to various funds and strategies, including private equity, fund of funds and any additional strategies authorised by the CSSF.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review the risk management procedures to the CSSF, ensuring that all regulatory requirements are documented and effectively implemented.
• Update the risk management policy to reflect the overall risk framework and best practices in risk assessment.
• Evaluate the valuation policy to ensure proper implementation and compliance with established standards.
• Assess transactions and investor profiles to verify alignment with fund documentation and applicable laws and regulations.
• Prepare comprehensive materials for the monthly Conducting Officer meetings in collaboration with the Conducting Officer responsible for risk management.
• Assistance in the preparation and sending of the Annex IV Reporting.
• Monitor the oversight on the performance of delegated and outsourced functions, ensuring they meet all the mandatory and legal requirements.
• Contribute to the development of risk reports and analytics to support strategic decision-making and risk assessment initiatives.
• Assist in the preparation in all mandatory and regulatory reports (including DORA/ESG).
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or a related field
• Knowledge of and interest in new technologies, particluarly as they relate to risk management and financial instruments.
• Exhibit a strong sense of ownership in your work, characterised by a "Getting-Things-Done" mindset.
• Maintain a dynamic and proactive work ethic, displaying willigness to go the extra mile to achieve department goals.
• Interested in financial modelling for risk management and pricing of financial instruments, applying analytical skills to support decision-making.
