Position Overview

The Senior Social Media Manager will be responsible for shaping and executing AIBC World's social media strategy to enhance brand visibility within the AI, Blockchain, Crypto, and Web3 communities. This role requires deep understanding of decentralized technologies, NFTs, DeFi, DAOs, and emerging AI applications, combined with creative content development, community management, influencer collaboration, and data-driven campaign optimization. The ideal candidate is a Web3-native storyteller and digital strategist who can position AIBC World as a thought leader in the space.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Strategy & Web3 Optimisation:

Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy tailored to AI, Blockchain, Crypto, and Web3 audiences across all platforms (X/Twitter, LinkedIn, Telegram, Discord, Farcaster, Lens Protocol, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).

Continuously analyse and optimize social media campaigns to maximize reach within crypto-native and AI innovation communities.

Stay ahead of Web3 trends, protocol launches, AI breakthroughs, regulatory developments, and emerging decentralized social platforms to position AIBC World as an industry authority.

Monitor crypto Twitter, blockchain forums, and AI communities to identify trending conversations and opportunities for engagement.

Content Planning & Publication:

Create and manage a content calendar focused on AI innovations, blockchain technology updates, crypto market insights, Web3 developments, NFT trends, and DeFi protocols.

Plan, create, and curate high-quality content (infographics, explainer videos, threads, technical breakdowns, memes, educational reels) that resonates with developers, investors, founders, and crypto enthusiasts.

Oversee daily social media publications across all platforms, ensuring timely coverage of breaking news in AI and blockchain sectors.

Translate complex technical concepts (smart contracts, consensus mechanisms, machine learning models, tokenomics) into engaging, accessible content.

Stories & Community Engagement:

Develop creative social media stories that showcase AIBC events, speaker highlights, Web3 innovations, and community achievements.

Foster authentic engagement by responding to comments, questions about blockchain technology, and discussions on AI developments in a knowledgeable and timely manner.

Participate actively in crypto and AI communities, building AIBC World's reputation as a valuable contributor to industry conversations.

Campaign Coordination:

Plan and execute paid and organic social media campaigns targeting Web3 developers, crypto investors, blockchain startups, and AI innovators.

Collaborate with internal teams and external partners (blockchain projects, AI companies, crypto influencers) to design campaigns that drive event registrations, media engagement, and community growth.

Coordinate campaign launches around major industry events (token launches, protocol upgrades, AI model releases, regulatory announcements).

Track and report on campaign performance, adjusting strategies to meet KPIs relevant to Web3 audiences (Discord joins, Telegram growth, etc.)

Influencer & KOL Partnerships:

Identify and build relationships with crypto influencers, blockchain thought leaders, AI researchers, and Web3 Key Opinion Leaders.

Negotiate partnerships with influential voices in the crypto space, DeFi protocols, NFT communities, and AI innovation circles.

Manage ambassador programs and influencer campaigns, ensuring alignment with AIBC World's mission and maximum ROI.

Monitor influencer performance and community sentiment to ensure authentic advocacy and engagement.

Community Management & Web3 Engagement:

Build and nurture an engaged, global community of AI and blockchain enthusiasts across social platforms and Web3-native channels (WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord).

Moderate discussions on crypto topics, facilitate AMAs with industry leaders, and proactively engage with developers, investors, and innovators.

Monitor brand sentiment across crypto forums, social platforms, and blockchain communities, addressing concerns and fostering positive dialogue.

Act as a bridge between AIBC World and the broader Web3 ecosystem, representing the brand authentically in decentralized communities.

Content Editing & Visual Creation:

Edit social media visuals, explainer videos, event highlights, and graphics using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut, or similar.

Create visually compelling content that reflects the innovative, tech-forward nature of AI and blockchain industries.

Ensure all content is polished, on-brand, and optimized for each platform's best practices.

Analytics & Reporting:

Track, analyze, and report on social media metrics (reach, engagement, follower growth, sentiment analysis) with focus on Web3-specific KPIs.

Use analytics tools and on-chain data (when applicable) to measure campaign effectiveness and community growth.

Provide actionable insights to leadership on audience behavior, trending topics in AI/crypto, and optimization opportunities.

Collaboration & Trend Intelligence:

Work closely with the marketing team, event coordinators, and industry partners to align social media with AIBC World's strategic objectives.

Monitor emerging AI technologies (LLMs, generative AI, AI agents), blockchain innovations (L2s, modular chains), and Web3 trends (SocialFi, DePin, RWAs) to keep content relevant and timely.

Identify opportunities to leverage new platforms, tools, and formats to expand AIBC World's reach in the decentralized ecosystem.

Key Skills & Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred)

4+ years of experience in social media management within the AI, Blockchain, Crypto, or Web3 space

Deep understanding of blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, DeFi, NFTs, DAOs, and AI innovations

Proficiency in Web3-native platforms (X/Twitter, Telegram, Discord, Farcaster) and traditional social media (LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube)

Experience with social media management tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, HubSpot) and AI tools (ChatGPT, Midjourney, Canva, CapCut)

Strong content creation and editing skills with ability to explain complex technical concepts accessibly

Proven experience with crypto influencer marketing and building partnerships within Web3 communities

Excellent community management skills with experience moderating Discord/Telegram communities

Ability to analyze social media performance and adapt strategies based on data and community feedback

Active participant in crypto Twitter, blockchain communities, and AI innovation circles (portfolio of work required)

Proficiency in English (C1 or higher)

Bonus: Personal interest in crypto investing, NFT collecting, or AI experimentation; understanding of tokenomics and on-chain analytics
