Job Description
Thingtrax is building an Agentic Manufacturing Operations platform to fundamentally change how factories run. By deploying AI-powered agents including computer vision systems directly on production lines, we enable manufacturing operations that can observe, reason, and act in real time. Partnering closely with manufacturers, especially in food and beverage, we’re helping teams reduce waste, improve quality, and move from manual intervention to autonomous, continuously optimised operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Accurately label and annotate images and videos for object detection, classification, segmentation, and tracking tasks.
• Use annotation tools to create bounding boxes, polygons, masks, and keypoints as required by project specifications.
• Collaborate with AI engineers and data scientists to understand annotation requirements and ensure dataset quality.
• Perform quality control and validation of annotations to maintain high data integrity standards.
• Assist in organizing, managing, and maintaining annotated datasets.
• Participate in training sessions and continuously improve annotation techniques.
• Provide feedback and suggestions to improve annotation workflows and tools.
• Demonstrated familiarity with annotation tools
• Ability to work independently with consistent accuracy
Requirements:
• Experience: 0–1 year
• Preferred Background: BS in Computer Science or a related field, with exposure to AI or annotation-related work
• Acceptable Notice Period: Immediate to 1 month
• Must-Have Skills:
• Foundational understanding of AI and computer vision concepts
• Hands-on experience with annotation tools (e.g., Roboflow or similar platforms)
• Ability to work independently with a high degree of ownership
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic proficiency in English communication to communicate with onshore team
• Good-to-Have Skills:
• Prior experience with image and/or video annotation for machine learning datasets
• Familiarity with annotation guidelines and quality assurance processes
• Exposure to multiple annotation formats (e.g., bounding boxes, segmentation)
• Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience contributing to computer vision-based AI projects
• Understanding of dataset management and preprocessing workflows
• Familiarity with additional annotation tools and platforms
