Job Description
We are looking for an AI Technical Specialist for the backend support for a fast-moving team that builds frontends quickly.
Key Responsibilities
• Build and maintain backends, APIs, and databases for client projects
• Write Python and/or Node.js for data processing, integrations, and webhooks
• Assist with data pipeline developments
• Deploy and manage projects on Vercel, Supabase, Firebase, or similar platforms
• Implement AI features using Claude, Gemini, OpenAI APIs
• Support frontend developers with clean API contracts and fast data access
• Work with AI coding tools (Claude Code, Gemini, Cursor) daily
Requirements:
• 3+ years backend development (Python and/or Node.js)
• Experience with Vercel, Supabase, Firebase, or equivalent modern stack
• Database design (Postgres, SQL required; bonus for vector databases)
• API development (REST, webhooks)
• Actively uses AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Gemini, Cursor, Copilot)
• Experience supporting fast-moving frontend teams
• Works fast, ships fast, figures things out without hand-holding
Preference:
• Prior experience with integration of LLM APIs into production applications
• RAG or chatbot backend experience
• Prior experience with startuo and agency-pace environment
• Can context-switch across multiple client projects
Minimum Technical and Work Environment Requirements:
• Internet Connection:
• Primary internet connection with a minimum speed of 15 Mbps.
• Backup internet connection with at least 10 Mbps.
• Backup connection must be capable of supporting work during a power outage.
• Primary Device:
• Desktop or laptop equipped with at least:
• Intel Core i5 (8th generation or newer), Intel Core i3 (10th generation or newer), AMD Ryzen 5, or an equivalent processor.
• A minimum of 8 GB RAM.
• Backup Device:
• Must meet or exceed the performance of an Intel Core i3 processor.
• Must be functional during power interruptions.
• A functioning webcam.
• A noise-canceling USB headset.
• A quiet, dedicated home office space.
