During the last few years, usage of AI based systems and applications is getting wider and wider.
Every day, technology boundaries are crossed, enabling new models, applications and use-cases we didn't even dream of. In Intel's SW AI team, we develop multiple generations of AI accelerators and GPUs, targeted for inference and training.

As AI models became larger and more complicated, a performant graph mode and efficient scaling solution became a key aspect of the SW solution. Our team is responsible for development of Intel oneAPI Collective Communications Library.

In this role you will:
- Design, develop, and maintain our real-time SW stack.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and specifications.
- Optimize software to meet performance requirements, ensure low latency and high reliability.

We are looking for top-notch SW Engineers, with multidisciplinary capabilities, extreme motivation and very high analytical skills.

Qualifications:

- B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related.

- Proficiency in object-oriented design and C++ programming
- Development experience in Linux environment.
- Experience of at least 7 years in SW development.
- Experience with multithreaded programming.
- Excellent communication skills.

In addition, excellent candidates may have experience in several of these areas:
- Background or experience with GPUs.
- Background or knowledge in Networking.
- Experience with runtime performance optimizations.
- Experience in distributed computing, HPC or collective libraries (MPI, NCCL, etc).
- Background in SW development for ASIC.

The Software Team drives customer value by enabling differentiated experiences through leadership AI technologies and foundational software stacks, products, and services. The group is responsible for developing the holistic strategy for client and data center software in collaboration with OSVs, ISVs, developers, partners and OEMs. The group delivers specialized NPU IP to enable the AI PC and GPU IP to support all of Intel's market segments. The group also has HW and SW engineering experts responsible for delivering IP, SOCs, runtimes, and platforms to support the CPU and GPU/accelerator roadmap, inclusive of integrated and discrete graphics.
