AI Strategy Consultant - WaveSix Labs (m/f/d)

What you'll do:
WaveSix, the world’s first AI Product Studio, is looking for an execution-driven and analytical AI Strategy Consultant to support innovation and AI transformation projects for corporates and scale-ups.

You will work at the intersection of strategy, innovation, and execution - supporting clients in building new innovation units, defining AI strategies, and rolling out AI solutions from concept to impact.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Identify, structure, and evaluate high-impact AI and innovation use cases aligned with client strategy and business priorities
• Support the setup and evolution of innovation and transformation units, including operating models, governance, and ways of working
• Contribute to AI rollout programs, from early enablement and use case discovery to pilot definition and scaling concepts
• Research AI trends, innovation models, and emerging technologies to support tailored client strategies based on culture, AI maturity, and infrastructure
• Prepare high-quality strategic deliverables such as value pool analyses, target operating models, user stories and process visualizations
• Support the design and facilitation of enablement, innovation, and strategy workshops, ensuring clear outcomes and stakeholder alignment
• Collaborate with senior team members on client proposals, RFPs, and strategic narratives
• Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to derive insights and track transformation progress
• Communicate confidently in English and German

What you bring:
Required Skills and Qualifications
• 2–3 years of experience in a consulting environment or a dynamic startup / scale-up within the digital, tech, or innovation ecosystem
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field
• Strong analytical and structured-thinking skills with the ability to synthesize complex topics
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience adapting content for senior stakeholders
• Experience creating clear, high-quality deliverables (presentations, business cases, strategic documents)
• Strong organizational skills and comfort working across multiple workstreams
• Curiosity, ownership mindset, and a strong interest in innovation and transformation

Nice to have
• Experience in AI, technology, innovation, or transformation consulting
• Exposure to building or supporting innovation units, venture studios, or corporate transformation programs
• Workshop facilitation experience and familiarity with design thinking or lean methodologies
• Basic exposure to sales processes, proposals, or client pitches
