AI Strategy and Transformation Lead

Mission:

• Lead high-impact technical projects building production-grade AI agents, automation playbooks, and intelligent systems that transform our internal capabilities and product offerings

• Collaborate with leadership, Data Scientists, ML Engineers, Product teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to architect company-wide AI capabilities

Your profile:
As an AI Strategy & Transformation Lead, you'll bridge strategic vision with technical execution, defining what it means for Aily to be an AI-first organization and building the systems to make it real.
Strategic Leadership:
• Define and articulate Aily's AI-first organizational strategy: assess our current capabilities, identify transformation opportunities, and create actionable roadmaps that align AI initiatives with business objectives
• Establish frameworks for prioritizing AI use cases across product development, operations, sales, customer success, and internal processes
• Partner with executive leadership to build organizational alignment, drive adoption, and embed AI-first thinking into company culture and decision-making

Technical Project Leadership:
• Lead end-to-end development of internal AI agent systems and automation playbooks: from requirements gathering and architecture design through implementation, testing, and production deployment
• Ensure technical standards and best practices for building reliable, scalable, and maintainable AI solutions including agentic systems, LLM-powered workflows, and intelligent automation
• Manage cross-functional technical teams (AI engineers, data scientists, product managers) to deliver complex internal AI projects on time and within scope

Technology Adoption & Implementation:
• Evaluate and recommend AI technologies, tools, and platforms that best fit Aily's needs, balancing innovation with reliability, cost, and organizational readiness
• Design adoption strategies that account for our technical infrastructure, data readiness, skill gaps, and integration with existing systems
• Create comprehensive playbooks and documentation that enable teams across Aily to leverage AI capabilities effectively and independently

Delivery & Impact:
• Drive hands-on technical work when needed: prototype AI agents, build proof-of-concepts and troubleshoot technical challenges
• Establish success metrics and measurement frameworks to quantify business value, track adoption, and continuously optimize our internal AI solutions
• Communicate complex technical concepts and strategic recommendations to diverse internal audiences from engineering teams to executive leadership

YOUR PROFILE
Journey to Impact:
• Month 1: Assess and strategize. Rapidly understand Aily's business model, technical landscape, team capabilities, and organizational dynamics. Define a compelling AI-first vision and initial transformation roadmap. Conduct discovery sessions with key stakeholders across departments and deliver strategic recommendations.
• Month 3: Build and prove value. Launch 2-3 high-impact AI agent projects or automation playbooks that transform how we work. Establish technical standards, lead cross-functional teams, and deliver working solutions that demonstrate measurable efficiency gains and ROI. Begin rolling out adoption playbooks across the organization.
• Month 6: Scale and institutionalize. Expand AI capabilities across multiple teams and functions. Refine organizational playbooks based on lessons learned. Become a trusted advisor to leadership, influencing long-term AI strategy and investment decisions. Mentor team members and establish AI excellence practices company-wide.

Required Qualifications:
Experience & Leadership:
• 6-8 years of professional experience with 2-4 years in management roles
• Proven track record leading technical AI/ML projects from conception to production deployment
• Experience defining strategy and driving organizational transformation, preferably in AI, data, or digital domains within fast-growing tech companies

Technical Expertise:
• Hands-on technical skills: Python, SQL, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), modern AI/ML frameworks
• Understanding of LLMs, agentic systems, RAG architectures, and production AI deployment patterns
• Grasp of software engineering principles, data architecture, MLOps, and system design

Strategic & Business Acumen:
• Ability to translate business objectives into technical requirements and AI use cases
• Experience with change management, stakeholder management, and executive communication in startup/scale-up environments
• Understanding of SaaS business models, product development cycles, and go-to-market strategies

Leadership & Collaboration:
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and inspire technical teams in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
• Excellent communication skills: can articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences and influence decision-makers at all levels
• Strong project management capabilities with experience managing multiple concurrent initiatives
