AI Solution Consultant - Industry (all genders) - Hybrid, Berlin

Your mission:
Bridging ML Research and Industrial Application
At dida, we develop custom Machine Learning solutions for complex industrial and societal challenges. From optimizing the German rail network with Deutsche Bahn to supporting environmental protection efforts (AI for Earth Award), our team translates state-of-the-art research into reliable software. We are looking for an AI Solution Consultant to help us identify new market opportunities and connect our technical expertise with real-world business needs. 

Your Role: Strategic Advisor & Business Developer
In this role, you act as the primary contact for specific industry sectors. You don't just follow a sales script; you help define how dida approaches new markets and build long-term relationships with innovation leaders.

Vertical Development & Market Building

• Identify Growth Areas: Analyze and enter new industry verticals (e.g., Energy, Manufacturing, or GovTech) by identifying where tailored ML solutions can provide the most value.

• Relationship Management: Manage the full engagement lifecycle, from initial contact and discovery to closing long-term project partnerships.

• Growth Strategy: Develop a sustainable roadmap for dida’s presence within your assigned industries.

Technical Consulting & Collaboration

• Trusted Advisor: Serve as a consultant to decision-makers and innovation managers, helping them navigate the possibilities and requirements of AI adoption.

• The Bridge: Work closely with our ML Scientists to translate technical potential into clear business cases. You ensure that our scientific excellence aligns with the client’s operational goals.

Networking & Process Improvement

• Industry Presence: Represent dida at industry events and build a network of strategic partners.

• Internal Evolution: Help refine our sales and project initiation processes to better suit the long-term nature of Enterprise AI projects.

Your Profile:
• Experience: 3+ years in B2B Sales, Business Development, or Consulting, preferably within the IT or deep-tech sector.

• Technical Fluency: You have a foundational understanding of Machine Learning (e.g., Computer Vision, Deep Learning). You can communicate effectively with both technical experts and business executives.

• Entrepreneurial Mindset: You enjoy taking initiative and working with a high degree of autonomy to build up a market segment.

• Communication: Native-level German is required for our primary partners in the DACH region, along with fluent English for internal collaboration.

• Location: Based in Berlin, with a presence in our Kreuzberg office (Moritzplatz) at least 2 days a week to foster team collaboration.
