What can you expect?

And you might be thinking: This is great, what will my day-to-day be like, at TDC? I’m glad you asked – I asked myself the same question at the time.

As an AI Prototyping Intern you will have the opportunity to:

Collaborate on exciting projects, such as designing rapid AI proofs of concept, experimenting with automation workflows, building smallscale agents, or validating earlystage innovation use cases across domains like IoT, underwriting support, or internal process enhancement.
Develop and deploy innovative tech solutions, such as lightweight AI prototypes, dataextraction workflows, LLMpowered assistants, or interactive demo agents that showcase feasibility and inspire further product development.
Work alongside experts in various technological domains, including AI engineering, data science, cloud development, and innovation strategy, gaining exposure to multidisciplinary product creation.
Enhance your skills with realworld experience by contributing to handson prototyping cycles—from problem definition and ideation to testing, iteration, and stakeholder demonstrations.
Contribute to a team that values your input and creativity, encouraging you to explore new ideas, challenge assumptions, and help shape nextgeneration AI solutions.

What Makes You a great Fit?

While we’re not seeking perfection or expecting you to save the world, we believe that if you meet some of these requirements, you’ll be a fantastic fit for our team. We are waiting for you!

Must-haves

Active student status with a Spanish University/School, ideally in technologyrelated field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or similar.
Available for at least a 6-month part-time/internship program.
Interest in how technology- especially AI- is reshaping industries like Insurtech.

Technical skills

Strong Python fundamentals, plus experience with libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, FastAPI, or LangChain.
Some hands-on exposure to AI/ML (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, or LLM experimentation).
Curiosity about modern AI tooling — vector databases, RAG, knowledge graphs, or orchestration frameworks — even if you’ve only dabbled or learned about them in courses.
Basic understanding of how different components in an AI system fit together (APIs, retrieval, data pipelines).
