As part of Santander’s journey to become an AI-First bank, we are looking for an AI Program Manager – AI for Agents to help scale and industrialize AI-powered products that support and empower Santander employees globally.

Reporting to the Global Product Owner of the AI for Agents line, you will play a key role in coordinating the end-to-end delivery of AI-based products — particularly conversational and agent-based solutions — designed to improve productivity, decision-making, and employee experience across the Group.

This role sits at the intersection of product, technology, and business, ensuring that AI initiatives move from concept to scalable, secure, and value-generating products adopted across countries.

Key Responsibilities

Program & Product Delivery

• Drive the execution of the global roadmap for AI for Agents products, with a strong focus on conversational agents and AI assistants.
• Coordinate multiple workstreams across product, data, engineering, UX, risk, and country teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
• Translate product vision and high-level requirements from the Global Product Owner into structured plans, milestones, and deliverables.
• Ensure alignment between global product strategy and local country needs, enabling scalable adoption.

AI Product Enablement

• Support the development of agent-based AI solutions leveraging LLMs, orchestration frameworks, and enterprise data sources.
• Work closely with technical teams to ensure solutions are robust, reusable, and compliant with Santander’s AI governance, security, and risk standards.
• Contribute to defining success metrics, adoption KPIs, and value-tracking mechanisms for AI products.
• Facilitate pilots, rollouts, and continuous improvement cycles across countries.

Stakeholder & Governance Management

• Act as a central coordination point between CDAIO, technology teams, business divisions, operations, CIO, CTO and CISO..
• Prepare executive-level updates, status reports, and decision materials for senior stakeholders.
• Support governance processes related to AI lifecycle management, prioritization, and scaling.
• Help drive change management activities to ensure adoption and effective use of AI tools by employees.

Professional Experience

• 7+ years of experience in program management, product operations, or delivery roles in technology or data-driven environments. (Required).
• Experience working in complex, large-scale organizations is required. (Required).
• Proven track record coordinating cross-functional teams in global or multi-country contexts. (Required).

Hard Skills

• Knowledge of AI-driven products, especially conversational AI, virtual assistants, or agent-based architectures. (Required).
• Familiarity with agile delivery models (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and program management practices. (Required).
• Ability to work with technical teams on topics such as APIs, data flows, model lifecycle, and platform integration (hands-on coding not required). (Required).
• Experience working in cloud-based environments is valued. (Required).
• Fluent English is required; Spanish is highly valued. (Required).

• Strong organizational and execution skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. (Required).
