AI Product Designer

Role Description

We are seeking an AI Product Designer to join our Product Team in Athens or Thessaloniki, full-time.

This role reports directly to the Product Lead and will be responsible for driving the user experience of our AI-powered SaaS platforms.

As the sole Product Designer in the company, you will play a key role in shaping how our products look, behave, and evolve. You will work closely with Product Managers and Software Engineers to translate product vision into clear, intuitive, and effective user experiences.

Our platforms help scientists, analysts, and decision-makers work with complex datasets and AI-driven insights. The AI Product Designer ensures these systems remain simple to understand, efficient to use, and valuable for our users.

This role requires someone who can move quickly from concept to prototype, simplify complex problems, and collaborate closely with engineering teams to deliver real product outcomes.

Modern product design increasingly relies on AI-assisted tools to accelerate ideation, exploration, and iteration. In this role, we expect designers to be comfortable incorporating AI into their workflow as a way to work efficiently and deliver high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Drive the Product Experience
Take ownership of the user experience across our platforms and help define how users interact with our products.

Translate Product Vision into Experience
Work with the Product Lead and Product Managers to transform product ideas and requirements into clear user workflows, interaction models, and product interfaces.

Design Simple and Effective User Experiences
Simplify complex systems and large datasets into interfaces that allow users to quickly understand insights and take action.

Prototype and Iterate Quickly
Create wireframes, UI mockups, and interactive prototypes that allow teams to explore and validate ideas early in the product development process.

Design Interfaces for AI-Powered Products
Design experiences that help users interact effectively with AI-generated insights, recommendations, or conversational tools.

Collaborate Closely with Engineering
Work directly with software engineers to ensure designs are practical, consistent, and implemented accurately.

Advocate for the User
Ensure the user perspective is represented throughout product development by participating in discovery, usability testing, and feedback sessions.

Establish Product Design Practices
Define and evolve the design principles and workflows that support the long-term development of our products.

Qualifications

Must-Have

5+ years of experience in product design, UX design, or interaction design, ideally within SaaS environments.

Experience with using AI to design, QA, and deliver UIUX experiences fast to clients and teams.

Experience designing complex digital products, enterprise platforms or highly scientific solutions.

Proven ability to create:

user journeys and workflows

mockups and prototypes

high-fidelity UI designs

Strong ability to translate complex ideas into simple product experiences.

Experience working closely with product owners/managers and engineering teams.

Excellent communication skills in English, with professional working proficiency in Greek.

Familiarity with modern design tools such as Figma and AI assistants/add-on tools.

Nice-to-Have

Experience designing data-rich interfaces or dashboards.

Basic understanding of frontend technologies (HTML/CSS).

Ability to quickly understand domain-specific concepts, such as scientific or analytical workflows.
