AI / ML Engineer (Applied AI & Automations)

We’re looking for an AI / ML Engineer to help us build production-grade AI systems that power real operational workflows across our platform. This role is hands-on and highly impactful — you’ll work on NLP, LLM-powered features, AI-driven automations, and scalable machine learning systems that are actively used by customers.

You’ll collaborate closely with product, engineering, and leadership, owning AI features end-to-end — from data and models to APIs and production deployment — while helping shape the future of AI at Albi.

Requirements:
Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and deploy applied AI and ML features used in production environments
• Develop NLP and LLM-based systems (classification, extraction, summarization, QA, RAG)
• Build and maintain AI-driven workflows and automations integrated with core product logic
• Design and implement backend services and APIs to support AI inference and data processing
• Work with embeddings, vector search, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines
• Train, fine-tune, and optimize domain-specific machine learning models
• Improve model performance across accuracy, latency, reliability, and cost
• Deploy and monitor ML systems in cloud environments
• Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to deliver impactful AI features
• Participate in architectural decisions, code reviews, and technical planning
• Contribute to testing, monitoring, and continuous improvement of AI systems in production

Requirements:

• 3+ years of professional experience in AI / ML or software engineering roles
• Strong proficiency in Python
• Hands-on experience with machine learning, NLP, or LLM-based systems
• Experience deploying ML models or AI services into production
• Experience building and integrating RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and production reliability
• Strong problem-solving skills and a product-oriented mindset
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
