We are seeking a proactive and impact-oriented AI Data Analyst & Logistics Manager on behalf of our client, JUMBO S.A. The role will be responsible for monitoring the company's supply chain from end to end, collecting, managing, analysing, and interpreting data in order to identify opportunities and make actionable recommendations for optimisation and cost reduction.
The successful candidate will combine experience in operations, logistics, and supply planning with familiarity with emerging technologies, leveraging them to transform complex data into strategic insights that promote innovative solutions, improve productivity, and create efficiencies across the organisation.
Responsibilities:
• Collecting, monitoring and analysing data related to the company’s operations, inventory, supply chain, logistics, and replenishment, including orders from international and domestic suppliers and a complex internal network of distribution centres that spans across 4+ countries.
• Using logistics tools and software, AI and emerging technologies such as LLMs, ML and automation to evaluate the impact of logistics policies and systems, forecast demand, predict disruption, manage risks, and improve RoI.
• Design and deploy data-driven proposals to integrate AI agents and LLMs into existing workflows to automate routine tasks, identify supply chain bottlenecks and efficiently address them in real time, favoring agile, high-impact solutions over protracted development cycles.
• Reporting, visualisation and presentation of key insights to senior leadership, identifying opportunities and providing recommendations for improvement.
• Proactively develop and propose data-based initiatives that improve logistical performance, champion AI adoption and advocate for digital and operational optimisation across the organisation.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant subject such as Information Management, Computer or Data Science, Machine Learning, Business Analytics, or Mathematics/Statistics.
• 2+ years of work experience in a relevant field such as logistics, supply chain planning and management. Experience with retail and e-commerce is a plus.
• Proficiency in data analysis, statistics, and modeling tools and techniques; experience in creating, cleaning, and stewarding large datasets is a plus.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python/R for data manipulation and machine learning application.
• Familiarity with software used in logistics, operations, finance, and business intelligence (ERP, WMS, TMS, BI, database management software).
• Familiarity with emerging technologies (LLMs, GenAI, Agentic AI, Machine Learning, etc) and enthusiastic about their application in logistics and supply chain optimisation.
• Detail-oriented, organised, independent, with excellent time-management skills, and an ability to prioritise resources and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
