AI Investment Intelligence Analyst

LSEG is seeking a motivated Junior AI Investment Intelligence Analyst to join our Analytics Center of Excellence in Paris on a 12-month fixed-term contract (CDD). In this role, you will own the development of the first versions of private company analytics and sustainable finance, using our Python-based platform integrated with LLM on Azure. You will work with diverse datasets, including private market data, to build innovative models and analytics that support strategic insights and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and refining initial versions of AI analytical workflows focused on private companies and sustainable finance along with data scientist and project manager.
• Evaluate and improve the quality, consistency and structure of model result, following regulatory and internal standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions.
• Present analytical findings and insights clearly to technical and non-technical participants.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Background in Finance, Economics, Business Analysis, or related fields.
• Strong curiosity about AI related research and automation
• Proven understanding of companies, industries and financial concepts.
• Analytical perspective with attention to details and data quality.
• Basic excel and python skill for data manipulation
• Excellent interpersonal skills to convey sophisticated concepts to diverse audiences.
• Proficiency in English; French language skills are a strong plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of financial markets, private equity, venture capital, or related sectors.
• Initial experience in finance, such as investment banking, investment research, business consulting or financial data services.
• Exposure to AI tools, LLMs or data automation projects.
• Exposure to python programming language.
• Master degree or equivalent. Bachelor degree accepted if candidate has a strong profile. Gap year accepted.

Contract Details:

• Fixed-term contract (CDD) for 12 months.
• Location: Paris, France (hybrid working model available).
