AI First - Full Stack Engineer, Experience Team

Tomorrow.io’s Saas department is focused on building software and products at scale, from infrastructure that handles massive amounts of data to outstanding customer centric user experiences in B2B, B2C and B2D products that change billions of lives worldwide.

We’re looking for an AI First Fullstack Engineer to help build the biggest weather platform in the world.

Our Experience team ensures that users have a seamless and intuitive interaction with our platform, bridging backend logic with compelling frontend experiences.

We seek engineers who embrace change, are resourceful, and are eager to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity. The ideal candidate is a versatile developer who can work across both backend and frontend, integrating AI-driven features while continuously improving the user experience.

As a Fullstack Engineer at Tomorrow.io, you’ll:

• Develop and refine user interfaces using React, ensuring seamless user experience.

• Enhance our Node.js-based microservices architecture, implementing new features and optimizing performance.

• Integrate AI-powered features into the product, leveraging LLMs and automation tools.

• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure smooth delivery of complex, multi-disciplinary projects.

What you bring:

3+ years of experience in fullstack development.
Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and experience with React, Redux, and Webpack.
Backend expertise with Node.js, microservices, and databases like MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or Redis.
Comfort with AI-powered development tools and willingness to experiment with new technologies.
A problem-solving, adaptable, and collaborative mindset, with a strong ability to work across both frontend and backend.

Nice to have: Experience with Mapbox, mobile development, or GCP.
