Position Overview
We are looking for a highly creative and tech-savvy AI-Driven Video Editor to join our growing creative team. In this role, you'll leverage AI-powered editing tools and automation software to produce engaging, performance-optimized video content for ads, social media, product launches, and brand storytelling. You must have strong post-production instincts and a willingness to blend traditional video editing with cutting-edge AI tools to maximize both creative impact and workflow efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
• Edit and produce compelling video content for paid ads, organic social media, and product education using AI tools and traditional software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects).
• Utilize AI video tools (e.g., Runway, Pika, Descript, Synthesia, etc.) to streamline workflows, upscale assets, and generate assets from text or audio inputs.
• Collaborate with performance marketers, creative directors, and copywriters to develop data-informed video creatives optimized for performance (CTR, watch rate, ROAS).
• Adapt and localize content across multiple platforms (Meta, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).
• Conduct A/B tests using alternate cuts, hooks, and formats to improve performance.
• Organize and manage media assets, ensuring a consistent and efficient post-production pipeline.
• Stay updated on emerging AI editing tools, trends in short-form video content, and best practices in video marketing.
Requirements:
• 3+ years of professional video editing experience, including short-form direct-response or branded content.
• Proven experience working with AI video editing tools (e.g., Runway, Descript, Pictory, Adobe Firefly, etc.).
• Deep understanding of social and paid media formats, especially for Meta Ads, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
• Strong storytelling skills with a keen eye for pacing, rhythm, and engagement tactics in short-form content.
• Experience with Google Veo
• Experience with motion graphics and/or basic animation (After Effects or AI-based tools).
• Familiarity with performance marketing KPIs (CTR, CPM, ROAS) and how creative impacts them.
• Ability to work quickly, meet deadlines, and adapt in a fast-paced DTC brand environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Nice to Have
• Experience editing in vertical and 9:16 formats for TikTok and Instagram Reels.
• Prior experience in the beauty or skincare industry.
• Knowledge of content repurposing, AI voiceover generation, and AI avatars
