About the Role

We're growing our AI Deployment team in Abu Dhabi and Doha, with a dedicated focus on financial services and private equity clients. In this role, you'll work at the intersection of AI product delivery and customer engagement, helping define, shape, and drive AI-powered solutions for banks, asset managers, sovereign wealth funds, private equity sponsors, and their portfolio companies.

You'll collaborate closely with data scientists, engineers, investment professionals, and senior stakeholders to translate complex financial and commercial needs into actionable technical solutions. As the voice of the customer, you'll lead agile delivery cycles, contribute to value creation across sponsor-backed assets, and foster long-term relationships built on trust and measurable impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Define & Prioritize Features: Partner with financial services clients and PE sponsors to identify high-impact problems across the investment lifecycle (diligence, portfolio operations, risk, and reporting) and define AI-driven product features to address them.

• Translate Business Needs: Convert customer requirements, investment theses, and operational pain points into clear technical specifications and use cases for internal data science and engineering teams.

• Support AI Diligence & Value Creation: Contribute to deep-dive assessments of target companies' AI strategies, data infrastructure, and technical maturity. Help shape value creation plans that connect AI capabilities to commercial outcomes within sponsor-backed assets.

• Lead Agile Delivery: Oversee agile sprints and deployment timelines, ensuring timely, high-quality, and audit-ready solution delivery in regulated financial environments.

• Bridge Strategy & Technology: Translate complex AI/ML capabilities into actionable recommendations for investment committees, portfolio executives, and senior client stakeholders.

• Drive Adoption: Travel regionally to engage with users, onboard stakeholders across deal teams and portfolio companies, and gather direct feedback to drive continuous improvement.

• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Serve as the bridge between customers and internal teams including data scientists, engineers, and product leads.

• Act as Customer Champion: Build trusted relationships with senior financial sponsors, investors, and operating executives, ensuring the long-term success of deployed solutions.

What We're Looking For

Experience:

• 2-4+ years of professional experience with meaningful exposure to both AI/ML and financial services (banking, asset management, private equity, or fintech).

• Background in top-tier consulting (McKinsey, Bain, BCG), private equity, investment banking, AI/product companies (e.g., Palantir, Google, Amazon), or technical roles at financial institutions preferred.

• Experience contributing to diligence processes, strategic analysis, technical evaluations, or enterprise AI deployments.

• Startup or high-growth operating experience a plus; comfort with ambiguity and moving fast.

Technical Fluency:

• Strong technical literacy in AI/ML, with the ability to evaluate data pipelines, model strategies, and infrastructure at a high level.

• Ability to discuss and assess technical trade-offs with engineering teams and translate them for non-technical investment and business audiences.

• Familiarity with financial data, workflows, and the regulatory considerations relevant to deploying AI in financial services is a strong plus.

Communication & Relationship Skills

• Executive-level communication; proven ability to influence senior sponsors, investors, portfolio executives, and enterprise clients.

• Excellent written and verbal communication, including the ability to simplify technical details for non-technical audiences and craft compelling strategic narratives.

Execution & Ownership

• Low-ego, hands-on operator who thrives in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.

• Commercial instinct and ownership mindset — capable of connecting AI opportunities directly to value creation and investment returns.

• Experience managing agile product or project delivery cycles end-to-end.

Mobility

• Based in Abu Dhabi or Doha (or willing to relocate).

• Willingness to travel within the region to meet customers, sponsors, and portfolio companies and oversee deployments on-site.
