We are seeking an AI/Data Architect (d/f/m) to define and develop Data/AI solutions to join our global team driving our AI/Data programmatic approach globally. This role is critical to transform our company and design and scale AI/Data solutions based on proprietary data, leading technology and strong global tech teams and SMEs.

This role bridges technology and business understanding by ensuring that use cases built on our Common Data Platform (CDP) directly improve elevator service operations, sales, and customer outcomes at scale. The ideal candidate combines strong tech competencies (Azure, Databricks, AI/AI Ops, Dev/Data/AI-ops and understanding of AI-models/GenAI tools) with business acumen, strong comms skills (communicate with business experts, Software and data teams) and an understanding of how to scale the developed solutions.


Partner with the Program Lead and Product owners to conduct deep dives into business domains, and precisely define the problem to be solved before any code is written.
Lead all aspects of the technical solution lifecycle: exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, model selection, training, and rigorous validation.
Develop everything from classical machine learning models to advanced deep learning and Generative AI/LLM-based solutions.
Quickly build functional prototypes (POCs/MVPs) to test hypotheses and validate the solution's effectiveness with end-users. Design and execute experiments to measure model performance and potential business impact, clearly communicating limitations and trade-offs.
Architect robust and scalable AI solutions, jointly with our global architecture and technology team
Ensure existing platforms (CDP – Databricks, Azure) and artefacts are used and ensure scalability is designed into the solution – contribute to reusable AI assets
Proof of concepts and MVPs are steps on our way to scaled solutions. By themselves POCs are a failure
Serve as a technical mentor for the AI Champions and other data professionals in your domain, sharing best practices and elevating the organization's overall AI capabilities
Continuously evaluate and integrate new technologies and best practices in data, automation, and AI to drive platform evolution
Explore and leverage the latest capabilities of Azure AI Foundry and Databricks Agent Bricks to enable intelligent, agentic orchestration

Who we are looking for

Advanced degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field
5+years of hands-on experience in data science, machine learning, or AI engineering, with a proven track record of delivering AI models that have created measurable business value
Experience working in agile, cross-functional teams and a strong portfolio of projects demonstrating end-to-end ownership from problem definition to a deployed solution
Hands-on expertise in Azure Databricks, Data Factory, SQL, Python and common data science libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn)
Deep experience with at least one major deep learning framework (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch)
Hands-on experience with Generative AI, including fine-tuning LLMs, prompt engineering, and building applications with frameworks
Strong understanding of data pipeline automation, CI/CD for data, and orchestration frameworks
Familiarity with Azure Foundry and emerging tools such as Databricks Agent Bricks is a plus
Curiosity for agentic AI capabilities and how they can enhance automation in enterprise environments
User-Centric: A strong sense of empathy for the end-user and a commitment to building solutions that are not just technically impressive but also intuitive and valuable
Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills in global, cross-functional teams
Fluent in English, German, Spanish and/or Portuguese a plus
Very strong team player and collaborator
Ready to go the extra mile to get things done – whatever it takes, from deep tech discussions to training to business cases to culture change
