ABOUT THE ROLE

PhonePe is looking for an AI Creative Lead to handle high-end video production and improve how our team works. This is not a traditional creative job. You will lead our marketing team into an AI-first future by creating end-to-end video content and making everyone more effective through AI tools.

You will be the link between new AI capabilities and our daily marketing work.

Focus Area 1: AI Video Competency

You own the process of bringing high-quality video to life using both commercial and open-source AI tools.

• End-to-End Production: You will lead the storyboarding and final creation of video assets using tools like Runway, Higgsfield, or Midjourney.

• Open-Source Mastery: You will use platforms like Higgsfield, Kling, LTX-2, or Wan to drive video production at scale.

• Model Training: You will train and use LoRAs to maintain visual consistency and reduce token consumption across projects.

• Technical Video Execution: You will use AI to handle everything from the first frames to the final polished renders.

• Rapid Prototyping: You will use AI to speed up video production and test new visual ideas quickly.

• Quality Control: You will make sure that AI-generated video meets the high visual standards of the PhonePe brand.

Focus Area 2: AI Enablement and Workflow Building

You are responsible for making our whole marketing team AI-native.

• Tool Adoption: You will drive the use of Generative AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini to help marketers work smarter.

• Custom AI Solutions: You will build and manage custom tools like GPTs, Claude Projects, or Gemini Gems.

• Prompt Libraries: You will create and maintain prompt libraries and playbooks for the whole team to use.

• Workflow Automation: You will find repetitive tasks and solve them by building automated pipelines with tools like N8N, Zapier,Make or internal tools.

• Internal Training: You will act as an internal expert by running workshops and training sessions for the marketing team.

• Impact Tracking: You will measure and report on the time saved and quality improvements that come from using AI.

• Deep AI Fluency: You have hands-on experience building AI workflows and agents, not just writing simple prompts.

• Video Mastery: You have a strong portfolio that shows your ability to create professional video content using AI.

• Influence: You can teach others how to use new tools without using confusing jargon.

• Ownership Mindset: You do not wait for a perfect plan. You see a problem and build a prototype to fix it.

• Unregulated Curiosity: You have a real appetite for exploring new tools and staying ahead of AI trends.

• Ownership: You treat this as your own company. You don’t wait to be told what to do — you identify problems, propose solutions, and execute. If AI can make something better, you’ve already built the prototype.

• Comfort with Ambiguity: The AI landscape changes weekly. You thrive in uncertainty, adapt quickly, and make decisions with incomplete information. You’re comfortable being the person figuring it out in real-time.

• Problem Solving: You see every bottleneck as an AI opportunity. You approach challenges with a builder’s mindset — less “that’s how it’s always been done”, more “what if we automated this?

WHAT MAKES YOU A GREAT FIT

• Experience: You have 3 to 5 years of experience in marketing or creative roles with a focus on using AI.

• Track Record: You have built something of your own, like a side project or a brand, that proves you are a builder.

• Adaptability: You are comfortable with the fact that AI changes every week and you enjoy figuring things out as you go.

• Industry Context: Experience in fintech or fast-growing tech companies is a big plus.
