Job Description
WHO WE ARE?
Being the daughter company of Swisscom - leading telecommunications company and one of the most sustainable and innovative companies in Switzerland - we share the same values, vision and goals.
As a trustworthy and efficient Swisscom IT service partner, we create valuable customer experiences. We work in a strong collaboration with our Partners in Switzerland and attract and retain high performers.
We're expanding our footprint in Riga and actively seeking 50+ DevOps Engineers to join our growing teams within this year.
We invite driven professionals to join us, grow with us, and help shape the future.
About the role:
We are looking for an AI & Automation Lead to drive the adoption of AI and workflow automation across our Swisscom DevOps Centers (SDCs) in Riga and Rotterdam.
This role goes beyond implementation — you will act as an AI evangelist, embedding AI into everyday work, while personally driving automation of internal processes (with n8n as a core platform).
You sit between business and technology: shaping use cases, enabling teams, and ensuring measurable impact.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive AI adoption across SDCs, acting as internal ambassador and building a strong user community
• Identify and scale practical AI use cases (e.g., Copilot, Swisscom GPT) across teams
• Own and implement end-to-end automation of internal processes, primarily using n8n
• Design scalable workflows and integrations (e.g., Workday, internal systems)
• Own the AI & automation roadmap, balancing quick wins with long-term impact
• Ensure solutions deliver measurable efficiency, cost, and quality improvements
• Oversee data & reporting landscape (DWH, Tableau/Quicksight) to support automation and AI use cases
• Act as key interface for HR, Finance, and leadership across Riga & Rotterdam
• Manage external partners (e.g., DWH provider) and ensure cost/value alignment
Success in this role looks like:
• AI is actively used across SDCs, not just piloted
• Internal processes are increasingly automated and efficient
• Teams proactively bring AI and automation ideas
• Clear, measurable impact on cost, speed, and quality
• Decision making is possible fully driven by data
• SDCs are recognized as a competence center for AI & automation within Swisscom

• 24 working days of annual paid holiday per year
• 5 dedicated paid learning day’s annually

• Collaborative, friendly and driven work environment
• Work on innovations, cutting edge technologies and in autonomous high performance teams

• Continuous development environment that fosters your growth (conferences, cross-department experience sharing, learning platforms etc.)
• Annual salary review.
