We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated AI and Automation Specialist to join our growing and dynamic Data and Emerging Technologies Team. This client-facing role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in Artificial Intelligence, Automation, and Data Engineering, and a passion for applying cutting-edge technologies to solve real business challenges.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with the Microsoft technology stack, particularly Azure AI services and Power Platform tools, and will be comfortable working directly with stakeholders to translate business needs into intelligent, automated solutions.

Your Mission

• Designing and implementing AI and automation solutions using Microsoft Azure services such as Azure Machine Learning, Cognitive Services, and Logic Apps. 

• Evaluating the performance of AI models and refining them based on accuracy, relevance, and business impact. 

• Presenting insights and recommendations using clear visualizations and concise reports tailored to both technical and commercial stakeholders. 

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and translate business needs into technical solutions. 

• Developing and maintaining data pipelines and automation workflows using tools like Power Automate and Azure Data Factory. 

• Supporting citizen development initiatives through Power Platform tools such as Power Apps and Power BI. 

• Conducting experiments to identify the most effective AI techniques for different use cases and validating them through proof-of-concepts. 

• Staying up to date with emerging AI and automation technologies to continuously improve solution design and delivery. 

About You 

The ideal candidate is therefore one who: 

• Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field. 

• Has at least 2 years of experience in a role related to AI, automation, or data, preferably within a cloud environment such as Microsoft Azure. 

• Demonstrates good knowledge of Generative AI concepts and their practical applications, including prompt engineering and model fine-tuning. 

• Has hands-on experience conducting experiments and selecting the best AI techniques for specific business challenges. 

• Is proficient in Python and familiar with automation scripting, REST APIs, and JSON. 

• Has experience with Power Platform tools including Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI. 

• Is familiar with version control systems such as Git, especially for managing code, collaboration, and tracking changes in AI and automation projects. 

• Communicates effectively with commercial stakeholders, translating complex data and AI concepts into non-technical language. 

• Is proactive, impact-driven, and eager to contribute positively to the team and wider organisation. 

• Demonstrates an agile mindset and adapts quickly to changing priorities. 

Having knowledge of the following will be considered an asset: 

• Related Microsoft Applied Skills or Microsoft Certifications, such as Azure AI Engineer Associate, Azure Data Scientist Associate or Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate. 

• Experience working with semantic models, data lakes, and Azure Data Factory or Microsoft Fabric. 

• Exposure to CI/CD practices and tools such as Azure DevOps, particularly for deploying and maintaining AI and automation workflows.
