AI Adoption Lead

BIS Safety Software is a fast-paced, high-growth organization providing leading software for the safety industry. We're expanding our AI team and looking for a hands-on AI Adoption Lead who will play a pivotal role in integrating AI into the daily operations of every department and software offering. About the Role

In this role, you'll help bring AI into the day-to-day work of every department at BIS. This role isn't about talking up the future of AI - it's about making AI real, practical, and useful right now. You'll work across departments to uncover opportunities, build and deploy AI solutions, and help people do their jobs better, faster, and more creatively. If you're all about action, experimentation, and making change stick, this is your kind of role.

This is an onsite role based at our Sherwood Park, Alberta office.

In this role, you'll be expected to::
• Find and prioritize where AI can make the biggest difference across teams and workflows, surfacing and validating automation opportunities.
• Train and support teams to build AI into their daily work through hands-on coaching, shared practices, and internal knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Drive AI projects from start to finish, mapping opportunities, removing roadblocks to keep momentum and balancing quick wins with long-term initiatives.
• Manage and evolve BIS's AI tech stack, staying ahead of new tools and technologies to ensure we're using the best solutions securely.
• Build and maintain AI agents and complex workflows that solve real business problems and drive measurable efficiency gains.
• Track and report on AI adoption metrics, sharing wins and learnings in Monday Morning Meetings and other venues to drive company-wide adoption.
• Monitor, refine, and update implemented AI solutions over time to ensure high adoption rates and continued value.
• Serve as BIS's AI subject matter expert, helping leadership and teams make informed decisions about AI strategy and investment.

You might be the right fit if you::
• Have demonstrated experience building AI agents or complex AI-driven workflows and can show examples of your work. This is a must.
• Bring strong technical knowledge of AI tools and platforms, with hands-on experience implementing AI solutions in a business environment.
• Are intensely curious and self-driven - you stay on top of the rapidly evolving AI landscape because you genuinely can't help yourself.
• Can make sense of complex problems and keep solutions practical, focused, and tied to real business outcomes.
• Are organized and able to juggle multiple projects at once, tracking progress and maintaining momentum across concurrent initiatives.
• Communicate clearly and persuasively - you can translate technical AI concepts into language that resonates with non-technical teams.
• Work well independently with limited guidance, while also collaborating effectively across departments.
• Thrive in a fast-paced, high-autonomy environment where you're expected to take ownership and drive results.

Bonus points if you have::
• Experience in a SaaS or B2B software environment.
• Background in change management or organizational adoption of new technologies.
• Experience developing AI training programs or internal enablement content.
