Our projects span various domains (financial services, media, ecommerce, etc.) as well as technologies (Python, Ruby, Java, JavaScript, etc.). We are expanding the team to create even more interesting products. The current team has extensive global experience building technology and media businesses. 

Duties and responsibilities 

We are currently looking for sharp engineers with very good problem solving skills and attention to detail. This is an opportunity to be part of a small team working on a very interesting product in the transportation space. If you want to work in a top-notch team on an exciting product for a well-established business, where your team defines the architecture, design and code for a highly scalable product, then this is where you can. You will get an opportunity to work on a highly scalable product, dealing with near-real-time updates and managing, analyzing and mining huge amounts of data. However, you need to demonstrate the caliber to do that and match up with your team mates. 

Qualifications & Experience

 • At least 2 year of experience working on awesome projects which demonstrate that you thought out of the box and questioned the status quo to make things not just better but the best! 

• Expert skills in at least one programming language (doesn't matter which one): Java, C#, Ruby, JavaScript/Node.js, Python, Scala, Go, or any other. Willingness (or eagerness) to work on different technology platforms and languages.

 • Strong understanding of design patterns, or an opinion on why they're overrated.

 • A firm grasp of multi-threading, synchronicity, databases (relational or non-relational), I/O and networking.

 • Good understanding of data structures and algorithms.

 • Good at communicating and working with stakeholders and team members. 

• Desirable – 

• Experience with/good understanding of building scalable web-based applications and APIs 

• Experience with node.js and NoSQL databases (mongodb, redis, etc.)

 Work Time: 9am to 6Pm 

 Monday to Saturday 

 Sunday Off
