Job Description

Development and QA Personal Lines Application have Domains of Auto, Home, Umbrella for various products in them. In Development teams follow all tasks of SDLC of Requirements Analysis, identify application impacts, update features, create user stories, develop those impacts to the application, perform unit test, integration test, deliver to QA for testing and validation. QA team performs these testing process - Insprint, Functional Regression, performance, Data, Rate testing application changes and product implementation features impacting these Domain Applications, create defects in case of issues follow all QA strategy, best practices to implement successfully in production, Team will follow the Development and QA process of Understanding requirements, develop, Unit test, integration test, prepare Test Objectives and test plan, prepare test data, document the TDR in Rally Features, user stories, execute the Test objectives, run the tools and prepare reports, validate test results, compare results, open defects when defects resolved, retest and complete QA. Perform Automation and innovation in all parts of development and QA, get productivity improvements, great collaboration with Business, product, IT Development, QAand production support for a successfull implementation. Defines the overall Development and testing strategy and manages all related activities for application development and testing; participates in preparation of proposals and action plans and leads implementation of any new processes and tools, as required; develops quality criteria and measuring techniques, validates system acceptability and makes project stop/go recommendation to management; recovery actions and / or process changes, as necessary; oversees workflow and work distribution within development and testing area and ensures that service levels are met; interfaces with business and various IT groups involved in building the application and ensures satisfactory resolution of issues; provides in-depth training on testing processes, methods, and tools, as necessary. Lead the development and QA testing.

Role Description:

Hands On Lead the Development and QA testing of Features and projects in Personal Lines. All the team functions specified will be performed by this Role. Automation thru AI, tools handson will be done by the role Perform Automation and innovation in Development, QA testing get productivity improvements, great collaboration as specified in team function successful implementation. Good Knowledge in Mainframe and Guidewire policy center based application landscape for Auto, Home and Umbrella P&C Line of business. Have worked in both Waterfall and Agile delivery model.
