Agentic Engineer

RYZ Labs is looking for an experienced Agentic Engineer to join one of our clients’ teams.

As an Agentic Engineer, you are a product-minded, customer-focused, full-stack engineer who builds and ships features using AI coding agents as everyday development tools. Working under general supervision with moderate autonomy, you independently deliver well-scoped features from implementation through production — using tools like Claude Code, Cursor, and GitHub Copilot to write better code, faster.

You exercise sound judgment on implementation approach and quality trade-offs, with your decisions directly affecting feature delivery timelines and code maintainability. You consult with senior engineers on architectural decisions and raise risks that require team-level discussion.

You will work in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment that crosses multiple technology domains, business teams, and offices.

Essential Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver features and services for our travel platform on a full-stack product development team

Strong proficiency with agentic coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) in daily development workflows to accelerate delivery and improve code quality

Review and validate AI-generated code for correctness, security, and performance before merging

Contribute to refactoring and modernizing existing services and architectures using cloud-native design patterns

Write clean, testable, peer-reviewed, and well-optimized code — whether authored manually or collaboratively with AI agents

Contribute to improving development and operations of an increasingly distributed architecture

Advocate for quality, durability, and technical debt reduction by working with Product Owners, Engineering

Managers, Product Designers and other key partners

Safeguard the privacy, security, and trust of our members' sensitive data throughout our implementations, in partnership with our Risk and Security teams

Contribute to meeting backend and system SLOs as part of the broader engineering team

Qualifications/Requirements of the Position:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience

3–5 years of full-stack development experience building web applications and services

1+ year of hands-on experience using AI coding agents (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) in professional development workflows

Solid experience building modern web applications, RESTful API design, and microservices architecture and patterns

Proficiency in two or more of the following: TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, C#/.NET

Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Next.js, Vue, or Angular

Experience building and deploying applications on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

Proficiency using AI coding agents to accelerate development, generate and refine code, and assist with debugging and testing

Familiarity with prompt engineering techniques for code generation and development workflows

Awareness of the Model Context Protocol (MCP) and how it enables AI agents to interact with external tools and data sources

Working knowledge of Azure AI Foundry, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), LangChain, and graph-based data technologies (GraphRAG, GraphDB)

Hands-on experience building applications in cloud and hybrid environments

Experience with modern project management and collaboration tools (Jira, ADO, GitHub Projects, or similar)

Agile software delivery experience (iterative planning and delivery)

Excellent communication skills, strong working relationships, and a high degree of team collaboration

Strong curiosity about emerging AI development tools and a desire to stay current with the evolving agentic coding landscape
