About VML MAP Agentic Transformation Group
At VML MAP, we are investing in the future by leading the way in agentic AI development. Over the past year, we’ve built the VML MAP Agentic Transformation Group a team focused on developing agentic AI solutions that drive real business value for ourselves and our clients.

The Lab operates in three different streams:

Value Engineering: A product centric function responsible for uncovering and designing value-driven agentic AI opportunities that are feasible, viable, and deliverable.
Development: A best-in-class agentic development practice, focused on developing and embedding robust multi-agent workflows within our clients’ infrastructure.
Research: Focused on continuously screening the state-of-the-art in across all aspects of agentic tech (e.g. multi-agent frameworks, LLMs, tooling, verification methods), adopting the puzzle pieces, and innovating to develop proprietary tech as needed.

As an Agentic AI Engineer, you will directly contribute to this initiative, working alongside AI researchers, engineers, and business stakeholders to create scalable and impactful AI solutions.

What will your day look like?

As part of the Agentic Transformation Group, you will be:

• Staying up to date with agentic AI advancements, integrating new techniques into our practice, and creating new capabilities when the state of the art falls short.

• Developing, deploying, and optimizing intelligent AI agents that meet project objectives while adhering to all business and technical constraints.

• Developing the end-to-end infrastructure needed to deploy, orchestrate, and scale multi-agent crews across both cloud and on-prem environments.

• Developing methods and tools for continuously testing our agents and ensuring they perform efficiently, remain aligned, and maintain robustness under diverse conditions.

• Collaborating with engineers, data scientists, business architects, and value engineers to design and implement agentic solutions that meet our clients’ needs.

What do you bring to the table?

The ideal candidate brings a can-do attitude, is proactive, and is familiar with enterprise AI governance, safety, alignment, or verification workflows, as well as reinforcement learning, planning, and decision-making algorithms for optimizing behavior and coordination in multi-agent environments.

Additionally, you bring:

• Strong programming skills in Python, with experience building production-grade systems.

• Solid understanding of software engineering best practices, including version control, testing, CI/CD, and observability.

• Experience developing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based applications.

• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

• Extensive hands-on experience with both open-weight and closed LLMs, modern agentic technologies (e.g., LangChain/LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, Google ADK), and agentic protocols (e.g., MCP, A2A).

• Proven track record of building agents with advanced tool-use capabilities in production.

• Experience with vector databases, retrieval systems, and embedding-based architectures.

• Ability to translate business requirements into technical designs for multi-component AI systems.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, working effectively with cross-functional teams (engineers, data scientists, architects, value engineers).
