The Air Export Planner is responsible for supporting the Air Export product by managing pricing, planning shipments, and ensuring cost efficiency. The role requires strong market awareness, coordination capability, and attention to detail to optimize shipment planning and minimize financial exposure to the branch.
• Plan and coordinate air export shipments, including consolidation (gateway) and breakbulk movements.
• Ensure accurate execution of shipment planning aligned with customer and operational requirements.
• Support overall Air Export product strategies and operational efficiency.
• Review and support daily quotation activities to ensure accurate and competitive pricing. 
• Validate local charges and agreement quotes to minimize branch losses. 
• Maintain awareness of pricing structures and cost implications in planning decisions.
• Participate in team huddles and monthly meetings to discuss market intelligence and trends. 
• Support workload allocation and ensure proper delegation within the team. 
• Share insights on market conditions, carrier performance, and pricing trends.
• Provide support for day-to-day Air Export operations and planning activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve planning accuracy, efficiency, and cost optimization.
• Work collaboratively with operations, customer service, and pricing teams.
• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
• At least 1 to 2 years of related working experience in similar position.
• Understanding of transportation documentation and terms is a plus.
• Good knowledge of computer and MS Office applications.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results.
• Pro-active, strong organizational skills.
