Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized, strategically minded emerging leader to join our Agency Division as our Agency Operations Manager.
This role is designed for a high-potential professional early in their career who thrives at the intersection of creative execution and operational discipline. You will serve as the connective tissue between departments (Account, Strategy, Media, Public Relations and Creative) — ensuring projects move efficiently, resources are balanced, and financials are managed with accuracy.
You will support the creative team by creating clarity, protecting their time, and eliminating workflow friction — while also owning forecasting, estimating, and project financial oversight. This is an opportunity to develop both creative operations leadership and financial acumen within an integrated agency environment.
This role reports to the EVP, Marketing & Agency Services and is based in Atlanta, GA.
What You Will Own
Creative Workflow & Team Support
Overseeing project flow from intake through final delivery
Building and maintaining timelines within agency project management platforms (Basecamp, Monday.com)
Leading weekly trafficking/resource meetings with Creative and Account teams
Proactively balancing workloads and anticipating capacity challenges
Removing bottlenecks that slow creative output
Ensuring deliverables meet quality control standards before client release
Coordinating with freelancers, production partners, and external vendors as needed
Maintaining clear process documentation and improving operational workflows
Forecasting, Estimating & Financial Oversight
Developing accurate estimates and scopes of work for new and organic growth projects
Supporting revenue forecasting and agency financial visibility
Monitoring project burn rates and overall job health
Identifying scope creep and partnering with Account teams to address it
Continuously evaluating estimate accuracy to improve profitability and planning
This role protects both creative excellence and financial discipline.
The Ideal Candidate
Brings structure to creative environments without stifling creativity
Communicates confidently across creative and account teams
Is comfortable discussing both timelines and budgets
Demonstrates ownership, maturity, and proactive thinking
Is motivated to grow into a senior creative operations or agency leadership role
What Success Looks Like
Creative teams have clarity around priorities and deadlines
Projects move efficiently without unnecessary last-minute stress
Resource allocation is balanced and intentional
Estimates align closely with actual project performance
Agency leadership has reliable visibility into forecasting and capacity
Both clients and internal teams experience a smooth, professional workflow
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field
0–3 years of experience in project management, agency operations, production, or related field (internships included)
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Comfort working in spreadsheets and project management platforms
Analytical mindset with interest in forecasting and financial performance
Exceptional attention to detail
Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven agency environment
Standard office hours, though deadlines or the demands of a client may require working outside of regular office hours to ensure continued success
This is a full-time, in-office position in Atlanta, Georgia
