We are looking for a capable and driven Afternoon Shift Team Leader to lead our production teams and ensure we continue to deliver quality products to our customers, on time, every time.
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing afternoon shift operations across all four departments, ensuring performance, quality, and team capability continue to improve.
This is a full-time, afternoon shift position (1:30pm – 10:00pm) located in our Tauranga facility.
Your Role
Lead and coordinate all afternoon shift activities across four departments
Ensure DIFOTIS (Delivery In Full, On Time, In Spec) targets are consistently achieved
Support, train, and develop team members to build capability and improve skill levels
Ensure strong communication and handover with the day shift so shifts are set up for success
Monitor workflow, productivity, and quality to meet Trimax standards
Identify and coordinate required maintenance to keep equipment operating effectively
Promote a safe, organised, and high-performing work environment
About You
Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment
Strong communication and organisational skills
A practical, hands-on approach with a focus on continuous improvement
Ability to lead by example and build a positive team culture
Commitment to quality, safety, and getting the job done right.
