Position Summary
Afterhours EV Team Lead plays a crucial role in coordinating, scheduling, and executing maintenance activities to meet EV contractual requirements. This position is responsible for deploying resources efficiently, enhancing technical productivity, minimizing waste, and reducing subcontractor costs. The role involves close collaboration with local management, field service personnel, clients, and subcontractors to ensure seamless service operations at remote sites nationwide.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Dispatching: Efficiently deploy internal technical resources and subcontractors nationwide for both preventative and corrective maintenance
• Team Leadership: Set the vision, direction, and culture of the team. Manage performance expectations and goals, monitor real-time service levels and schedule adherence, and ensure the team meets and exceeds performance targets
• Scheduling Management: Oversee both short-term and long-term service schedulers. Accurately report on schedules and related metrics
• Work Ticket Management: Take ownership of work tickets from initiation to completion, ensuring they are executed and documented professionally
• Coordination: Ensure seamless handoff between US domestic schedulers and the global team involved in scheduling, planning, and work order management
• Performance Metrics: Manage dashboards with regional performance metrics to drive continuous process improvements
• Communication: Facilitate strong communication among schedulers and regional field managers to prevent conflicts between field operations and scheduling
• Standardization: Focus on standardizing work streams across a broader team of schedulers and maximizing the number of dispatches per day
• CMMS Utilization: Use the Salesforce-based Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to plan and schedule, develop job plans for various maintenance activities, and assign work to appropriate resources
• Resource Management: Ensure availability of materials, tools, and appropriate parts. Verify that the Scope of Work (SOW) is sufficient for task accomplishment and that safety requirements are identified
• Report Review (Technical):
• Review work orders to ensure completeness and accuracy
• PM Approve Daily Work Reports (DWRs)
• Create daily work reports and generate comprehensive service reports
• Coordination with Other Departments: Ensure full utilization of resources by coordinating activities with other areas and departments within the company
Qualifications and Requirements
• Experience: 2-3+ years in planning/scheduling technical resources, preferably with experience in a supervisory role
• Education: Relevant 2 or 4-year degree preferred
• Skills:
• Strong attention to detail
• Outstanding customer service and communication skills
• Ability to follow-up, multi-task, and manage multiple responsibilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Experience with CMMS systems like Maximo or Salesforce
• Availability: Must be available to work nights and weekends
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead a team for a minimum of two years in a supervisory position

Base Pay Range
$28—$33 USD
