We’re looking for a driven Automotive After treatment Calibration Engineer to join our dynamic team, working at the cutting edge of Hybrid and Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) development.
The job involves:
      Develop and calibrate aftertreatment control strategies for diesel engines, including:
• Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR).
• NOx Sensor & Control.
• Particulate matter control.
• Regeneration strategies (active & passive).
• Lambda Control Sensor & Control.
•  Optimize emissions performance to meet regulatory standards (e.g., Euro VII, EPA, China VI).
• Perform steady-state and transient calibration using engine dynamometers and vehicle testing.
• Support cold-start and real-driving emissions (RDE) calibration activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including combustion, controls, OBD, and hardware engineering.
• Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshooting for emissions-related issues.
• Ensure calibration robustness across different operating conditions and environments.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation for internal reviews and regulatory submissions.
Essential
• Aftertreatment technologies (SCR).
• Experience with calibration tools (e.g., ETAS INCA, ATI Vision, CANape).
• Knowledge of emission regulations and certification processes.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (MATLAB, Python, or similar).
• Familiarity with ECU control strategies and model-based calibration is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Desirable
• Experience with real driving emissions (RDE) and PEMS testing.
• Knowledge of thermal management strategies in aftertreatment systems.
• Understanding of urea dosing systems.
• Experience in EGT relevant sensor calibrations(PM , NOx)
• Exposure to hybrid or advanced powertrain systems is beneficial.
