McCall-Thomas Engineering Company is seeking a full-time Aerial Fiber Lineman to work in multiple locations (primarily in GA,SC and NC).

McCall-Thomas Engineering is a multi-faceted engineering firm housing multiple departments including Communications Engineering, Civil and Electrical Engineering and Design, Electric Utility Maintenance Services, Electric Field Operations & UAS, as well as the McT Learning Center and Print Services.
As a McCall-Thomas Aerial Fiber Lineman, you will be joining a team of dedicated individuals committed to our mission of providing quality solutions and services to each of our clients. The primary responsibilities for this role will require:
Monitoring quality assurance and ensuring installations meet customer specification and industry standards.
Ensuring safety practices are observed by all crews during their work
Establishing OSHA and customer safety requirements
Stringing new wire or maintaining old wire
Climbing power poles, performing work off of hooks
Maintaining aerial specs when placing overhead lines
Setting up service for customers: installing, connecting, testing, or adjusting equipment
Tree Trimming
What Will You Need:
Valid CDL Class A License strongly preferred
Knowledge of aerial ADSS fiber installations and experience installing fiber in the power space
Lineworker training certification
2+ years’ experience in the industry
Basic tools required- could be climbing tools (Belt and Gaffs), basic hand tools etc.
Able to travel as project locations change
Eligibility to work in the US without sponsorship
McCall-Thomas Engineering has contracts with several utilities in neighboring states to provide storm damage assessment support in the event of severe weather. Our Electric division employees are required to be available to travel for our Storm Damage Assessment response team when called, either as a Driver or as an Assessor. Details will be discussed in more detail in an interview.
Pay range will be commensurate with education and experience.
