About the role
You are a Front-end Developer specialising in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
A mid-weight AEM content professional that can both assemble and custom-code websites. You will take complete ownership of assigned tasks, implementing content solutions for our pharmaceutical client in Spain. You will create/design, update, review digital content and optimise the User Experience across a variety of digital assets. You will be hands-on. Effectively collaborating with teams throughout the client’s business to get the job done. You will work closely with our client’s digital, production and brand teams, plus external agencies as part of an integrated cross-functional team.
What you’ll do
Have a good Knowledge of AEM sites, templates, assets, plus components and their styling, with the ability to configure the right components in pages according to the design brief
Be responsible for the authoring of websites and creation of web pages in AEM as per agreed design, making responsive using CSS where required, configuring and publishing those pages
Map existing templates and components to an approved visual design/mock-up
Design and optimise tactics and graphics, that follow template and brand guidelines, and that exceed the agreed quality metrics
Do ongoing creative development; including creative iteration, image swap, copy updates etc.
Work with the client’s project management team, brand stakeholders and digital teams to ensure the smooth delivery of all projects
Support, where required, the transfer of AEM into the development and operating environment (AEM architecture and staging)
Configure page properties, tags and asset metadata
Configure Analytics or other similar tags in the page setup
Ensure site/pages are compliant as per the Google page speed tool
Have the ability to modify HTML, CSS and ideally JS in existing pages
About you
Minimum 3 years’ experience working in Adobe Experience Manager - assembly, coding and ideally design, producing digital deliverables for omnichannel campaign delivery
Education – A Graduate/Post-Graduate with preferably a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or related design field
Good verbal and written communication skills, problem solving and interpersonal skills
Naturally proactive and collaborative with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team and to manage your own time effectively
Have a detail-oriented mind, be well-organized, and be able to thrive in a deadline-driven environment with strong attention to detail
Have proven experience with platforms, tools, techniques and knowledge of multiple media and apply them in developing creative outputs as required
Ability to troubleshoot issues and make changes in AEM to resolve such issues
Experience of responsive design including for mobile, iOS and Android
Good understanding and knowledge of HTML, CSS, and ideally JS
Understanding of how design translates to code (coding expertise & tagging)
Software skills/Expertise – AEM plus Adobe Design Suite. Knowledge of Adobe Target, and Figma a distinct advantage. Adobe Audience, Adobe Analytics knowledge is also beneficial
Knowledge of agile ways of working and use of management/tracking tools including JIRA
Demonstrated familiarity with metadata standards, editorial standards, communication standards, and classification systems
Knowledge of Classic and Touch UI, Content Fragments and Experience Fragments preferable
Having had previous Pharmaceutical, or similar highly regulated industry sector, experience would be ideal, but not mandatory - must get up to speed quickly on external regulatory and layout requirements
Experience of SEO implementation and microservices configuration for web pages plus Forms and Target Authoring in AEM is an added advantage
Broad knowledge of library tools and systems, DAM and resources in corporate organizations preferable
Solid technology background, including Microsoft Office Suite software, and familiarity with trends in delivery of electronic information
