Job Description

Cedar Point Health is a physician-owned company with a dedication to healthcare on the western slope of Colorado. With three urgent care sites, three family practice locations, one internal medicine office, and our PT wellness center, we have lots of options to support our patients. We are looking for a qualified NP or PA to fill an available position at our Primary Care location in Montrose, Colorado. This position is responsible for providing health care to patients within the clinic in cooperation with a collaborative physician.

Significant production bonus pay available.

Responsibilities:

• Performs examinations, obtains complete medical histories, and assess health status.

• Documents patient information and care in EHR.

• Orders and interprets laboratory and diagnostic tests and procedures.

• Prescribes medications and treats illnesses.

• Instructs patient/family regarding medications and treatments. Educates patients regarding medical conditions, treatments, medications, and preventative measures as necessary.

• Coordinates appropriate specialty referrals.

• Consults with or refers more complicated medical cases to physicians as needed.

• May support our Urgent Cares facilities as needed.
