A growing healthcare organization is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible physician to join an established advanced heart failure and mechanical circulatory support program. Candidates should be fellowship-trained in advanced heart failure.
About the Position
• Join an established team of advanced heart failure cardiologists, supported by a multidisciplinary team including a heart failure surgeon, pharmacist, social worker, and advanced practice providers
• Destination LVAD center with an active cardiogenic shock program
• Established CardioMEMS program, pulmonary hypertension program, and ongoing heart failure clinical trials and registries
• Invasive procedures include heart catheterization and CardioMEMS implantation
• Academic affiliation with a medical school, with potential teaching opportunities
• Built-in referral network covering a large multi-county service area

Requirements:
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
• Fellowship training in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology required
• Eligible for or able to obtain medical licensure in the state of practice
• Active or eligible for DEA certification
• Strong clinical experience in managing complex heart failure patients
• Experience with or exposure to mechanical circulatory support devices (e.g., LVAD) preferred
• Proficiency in invasive cardiology procedures such as heart catheterization (if required by role)
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary care team
• Strong communication, organizational, and patient care skills
• Commitment to quality care, patient safety, and clinical excellence
• Interest in academic, teaching, or research activities (if applicable)
