Admitting-Discharge Manager
Las Vegas, NV | Full-Time
Salary: $63,024 – $97,697 annually
Position Summary
Oversees daily operations of Patient Access Services (PAS), including Admitting, Discharge, Referrals, Authorizations, and Scheduling. Manage supervisors and staff, resolve insurance and patient issues, ensure policy compliance, monitor KPIs, and supports quality improvement. Acts as a liaison across departments and contributes to strategic planning.
Requirements:
Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field
5+ years of Admitting/Discharge supervisory experience in a hospital or physician office setting (including scheduling and referrals)
Experience in a professional (FLSA-exempt) role
Additional Requirements:
Proficiency in EPIC and UKG Kronos
1+ year Emergency Department experience (trauma, adult, and/or pediatrics)
1+ year main hospital admitting experience (ASU, outpatient)
Experience managing multiple schedules
Flexibility to work nights/weekends
Key Skills & Knowledge
Admitting workflows, insurance requirements, and basic coding
Staff scheduling, supervision, and performance monitoring
Customer service and issue resolution
Strong communication and organizational skills
Knowledge of hospital safety, patient rights, and infection control
Physical Requirements
Office-based role with prolonged sitting and computer use
Occasional light lifting (up to 10lbs)
