This full-time, entry-level position plays an important role recruiting prospective students, reviewing their applications to the University, and participating in yield activities to ensure the enrollment of an exceedingly talented and well-rounded class. An Admissions Counselor travels to key high schools in their assigned geographic territories and interacts with students, parents, high school counselors, and alumni. Additionally, this individual conducts information sessions on campus and virtually, interacts with admitted students and families, and contributes to the success of numerous visit and recruitment programs. Admissions Counselors collaborate with University departments and external partners as necessary. This position partners with student employees, focuses on targeted outreach to admitted students, and works on special projects informed by University enrollment objectives. Additional tasks may be assigned by the Vice President for Undergraduate Enrollment, Assistant Vice President for Undergraduate Admissions, Director of Admissions, or other senior leaders. Some evenings and weekends are required for this position.

Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree
• Entry-level role or up to 2 years admissions experience
• Possess excellent time management and perceptive interpersonal abilities
• Operate effectively in both independent and team environments
• Demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills in English (oral and written) for both individual and groups in-person and virtually
• Demonstrate leadership potential that can be developed
• Have knowledge of and experience with computer systems and software applications, especially Microsoft Office and Google
• Possess a valid driver’s license (required) and a U.S. passport (preferred)
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Slate (Technolutions) and Banner
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in a second language other than English
Salary: Up to $47,000
