Location: Matthews, NC - Corporate

Organization: Transcend ED - Treatment Center for Eating Disorders

Transcend ED is currently hiring a Full-Time Admissions Coordinator to join our team at Transcend ED in Matthews, NC.

Shift: Day 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (exact hours may vary)

Job Type: Full Time

Key Responsibilities:

Conducts all assigned admission biopsychosocial assessments in a timely and professional manner using DSM-V TR criteria to determine appropriate services and treatment plan.

Utilizes standard assessment tools and clinical interviews to assess client needs. Discusses assessment with supervisor to determine level of care recommendation.

Obtains signatures and completes documentation for clients during admission process. Maintains knowledge and access to utilize the electronic medical record for pre-admit assessment information.

Answering and responding to incoming program inquiries/referrals via telephone, fax and/or internet in a timely manner.

Maintains a confidential and organized documentation system of referral sources and admission screenings.

Assists staff in maintaining statistical data related to admissions and discharges.

Assists with scanning, uploading, labeling, and filing client chart contents as assigned by management.

Completes crisis assessments for clients as needed or assigned.

Qualifications:

A master's degree from an accredited institution is required. 

Provisionally licensed LCSW-A, LCMHC-A, LMFT-A, or LCAS preferred

Good verbal and written skills, ability to rotate shifts and programs as necessary and ability to maintain confidentiality of client information.

Punctuality, courtesy, and ability to consistently complete responsibilities

Must pass a criminal background check.

Preferred Qualifications (in addition to Minimum):

Strong customer service background and focus

Professional written and verbal communication skills

Working knowledge and ability to perform accurately and efficiently on computer programs and EMR documentation.

Experience working in a physician practice or other type of medical services office.

Prefer experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in behavioral health setting or experience working in a medical office.
