This position will be based out of one of our commercial properties in Burnaby, BC.
You will
Responsibility for accounts payable specifically the data entry of invoices into Yardi and ensuring expenses are accurately posted in the GL
Responsibility for the entry of purchase orders into Yardi
Correspond with vendors and respond promptly to vendor inquiries
Responsibility for ensuring tenant chargeback invoices are disbursed to tenants
Follow up on tenants sales reports and disburse percentage rent invoices
Work collaboratively with other team members including the Station Square team and other property management team members, accounting and other stakeholders
Perform other ad-hoc administrative duties as assigned
Collect tenant insurance certificates and ensure compliance to tenants’ leases.
Prepare Tenant Notices
Ordering office supplies
Coordinating courier packages
Miscellaneous other duties as assigned
You have
Minimum of 4 years’ experience as a property administrator with AR and AP experience
Strong understanding of accounting principals
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Excellent organizational skills
Strong knowledge of MS Office and Excel
Strong understanding of Yardi and the ability to learn quickly
Have a knack for fostering positive relationships with tenants
Are detail oriented and are known for your flexibility and ability to multi-task
Are an independent self-starter with a strong work ethic

Salary range
$55,000 - $65,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications
