Who will I be working with? In support of Inflow's contract with the Government, you will be working alongside Government civilians and other Government contractors. You will be supporting the Office of the Inspector General (OIG) for the Department of Defense (DOD).
What level Clearance do I need? You must possess an active Secret clearance.
What will I be doing? In this position you will be a part of a team of administrative, operational, and technical professionals working to support the DoD Office of the Inspector General and various components. You will be providing quality administrative support to supervisors, handling executive correspondence, performing minor research tasks, fielding phone calls, greeting guests, filing, purchasing office supplies, and working on special projects as needed. In this position you will:
Prepare and manage electronic and printed correspondence
Review incoming mail and process accordingly
Review draft policy documents for style and format
Review, distribute, and update staff actions in the document tracking system
Disseminate announcements/information and respond to and assist staff with inquiries
Provide assistance in proofreading documents
Provide meeting support, planning, and producing minutes
Assist in managing Outlook calendars and if necessary, scheduling and tracking appointments, meetings, or interviews
Monitor office supply levels, prepare office supply requests, to include supply requests received from staff members
Draft, edit, and organize data for complex technical and non-technical documents and briefings
Respond to e-mails, telephone calls, customer visits, or correspondence
Escort visitors to and from the visitor center, create meeting schedules, assist with room reservations, and meeting communication requirements, e.g., video and telephone teleconferences
Prepare rosters and post to SharePoint or distribute
Upload required documents into SharePoint or tracking system
Other duties as assigned
What experience, training, and education do I need?
You must meet the minimum requirements:
2+ years of experience or 4 years of experience without a degree
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent grammar, proofreading, and editing skills
Strong focus and attention to detail
Active Secret clearance
Able to commit to a temporary role (approximately 6 months)
The following is preferred:
AS or AA degree or equivalent experience. BS / BA Degree highly desired.
