We are hiring a Administrative Support Specialist to provide administrative support include general office briefs, schedules, administrative activities, meeting documentation, taskers, scheduling meeting areas, and other clerical efforts.
What you will support:
US Army Chemical and Biological Center
Key Responsibilities
Perform clerical work: answer phones; filing, copying; track and order supplies; sort and forward emails
from DEVCOM-CBC G4 general mailbox; and relay messages.
Schedule appointments, coordinate meetings, and make travel arrangements.
Compose, track, personnel, disseminate, and log correspondence and other documents.
Maintain organization archives for all files and folder life-cycle management.
Assist with timesheets, long-range calendars, and manage various digital repositories.
Assist with Contractor and subcontractor management: facilitate market research with Contractors and
subcontractors for proposal(s) supporting the acquisition process.
Provide project management support by preparing forms (i.e., change orders; purchase orders; service
agreements; and workflow forms).
Review and submit workflow process forms (i.e., Individual Job Order (IJO), Minor Project Repair (MPR),
etc.).
Identify safety concerns to the Contractor Supervisor and other required stakeholders (i.e., DOD, ARMY,
OSHA, ANSI, etc.).
Assist in maintaining accurate files and provide documentation to the COR as applicable.
Provide and assist with the required data to the Contractor Supervisor for a monthly report/tracking matrix
of all related matters.
Ensure all administrative functions/paperwork are in order relative to receipt documentation
Ensure work orders, or internal paperwork, are accomplished on time and in the required format.
Maintain a clean and safe worksite while performing or conducting job duties and be attentive to detail.
Support the mission, vision, values, and goals of the US ARMY.
Required Experience
Minimum of (4) Years of Clerical experience, High School Diploma/GED, an active CLASS C Driver’s
License, and Intermediate Proficiency in Microsoft Applications (i.e., Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, and
PowerPoint).
