About the position

Carvana is looking for a goal-oriented, self-motivated individual contributor to support the Vehicle Reconditioning network’s parts function. The Administrative Specialist will use their strong communication skills and attention to detail to manage parts supplier relationships as well as contribute to various strategic projects across the parts supply chain.

Salary: $50 - $55k

What you’ll be doing

• Support efficient parts dealer onboarding activities, including initial outreach and account set up with dealers. Maintain accurate dealer accounts, including payment validation and analysis.

• Communicate with third-party vendors to identify and set-up orders for parts.

• Work closely with Parts departments throughout the reconditioning network to ensure accurate parts are ordered for vehicles, including verifying the quality and pricing of parts.

• Execute various strategic and operational initiatives within the parts supply chain, improving speed, cost, and quality of parts ordering.

• Other duties as assigned.

What we require:

• Must be able to work in Carvana’s Tempe HQ and/or at an Inspection Center as needed.

• Strong, consistent attention to detail.

• Ability to review, analyze, identify problems, and make quick decisions.

• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively, maintaining high volume and high-quality content in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to communicate and interact with others effectively in a professional, courteous manner.

• Experience working in the Automotive Industry or in a Lean Manufacturing environment preferred, including Experience working with automotive parts.

• May be asked to travel occasionally (10% or less).

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
