Lawson Lundell LLP is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our Yellowknife office. The successful candidate is an enthusiastic and hardworking team player who is capable of prioritizing and multitasking to successfully support our Yellowknife team. The regular working hours for this role are Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm.

Key Responsibilities

Manage time entry, assist with billing processes, and prepare expense reports in a timely and accurate manner.

Prepare, draft, format, and proofread correspondence, reports, and other documentation with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

Coordinate and manage calendars, schedule meetings, and support inbox management to facilitate efficient workflow.

Serve as a professional point of contact for internal team members, ensuring clear and timely communication.

Support document management, records maintenance, and data entry in accordance with firm standards.

Assist with general office operations, including reception coverage, meeting coordination, and other administrative duties as required.

Qualifications

Administrative Assistant certification or related post-secondary education is considered an asset.

Minimum two years of administrative experience in a professional office environment.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally and effectively.

Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate work.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and exercise sound judgment.

Strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to problem solving.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Adaptable, dependable, and responsive to evolving priorities.
