Job Description
Upper Valley Services (UVS) is one of Vermont’s designated non-profit agencies serving people with developmental disabilities and adults who are eligible for Adult Family Care.
Upper Valley Services is seeking an Administrative Assistant for 30-32 hours per week.
Responsibilities include:
Meet and Greet all incoming visitors and staff.
Manage visitor sign-in sheet.
Update Policy Binders quarterly as needed.
Create and maintain accurate contact list for shared living providers, guardians, and families.
Answering phones and directing calls.
Assisting with office equipment.
Assist staff with general office needs.
Inventory and order supplies as needed.
Check in-coming and out-going mail daily.
Manage filing and file storage.
Assist with tech setup for office trainings and presentations.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
At least one year of administrative experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient computer skills with electronic health records, Microsoft Office, e-learning, and other software programs.
Willingness and ability to learn new programs and technologies.
Excellent organizational skills.
Ability to understand the needs for and maintain consumer confidentiality.
Ability to adhere to our core principles and maintain a positive and respectful work environment.
