Position Overview
Global Environmental & Industrial Response (GEIR) is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team in Louisiana. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the office and assist with various Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) administration functions. The Administrative Assistant will interact professionally with employees at all levels and contribute to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
Essential Functions
Process payroll and assist with related documentation
Communicate with vendors and contractors to coordinate services and resolve issues.
Schedule and set up appointments as needed
Order, manage, and organize safety supplies, including personal protective equipment (PPE)
Process regulatory documents and maintain accurate records and file management systems.
Prepare and complete reports for management upon request.
Perform additional EHS administration duties as assigned.

Qualifications
High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred
Proven experience performing clerical or administrative work
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook
Key Skills and Knowledge
Strong knowledge of office management systems and procedures
Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize assignments
Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Superior written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and planning capabilities
Pay
$18 to $21/ hourly
Schedule
Monday to Friday – 8 am to 5 pm
