Job Title - Administrative Assistant (Part-time)
Location – London, Highstreet Kensington

The i Paper is looking for a part-time administrative assistant to help with the day-to-day running of its thriving newsroom.

As The i Paper continues to grow and evolve its editorial operation, we are seeking administrative support in the Managing Editor’s office – the role is part-time, up to three days (24 working hours) per week.

This office-based role is an exciting opportunity for someone who is personable, proactive, eager to learn, and who can effectively handle multiple tasks.

Working from The i Paper’s London headquarters, key duties will include:

• Assisting with the management of The i Paper’s main news team rota – mapping shifts ahead of time, and co-ordinating absence and cover daily, where necessary

• Checking and processing weekly timesheets for all casual workers and assisting management with HR processes in the newsroom

• Onboarding of new casual workers

• General newsroom administration including filing, stocking stationery, handling post and helping to assist with travel bookings

• Assistance with organisation of work experience placements

• Involvement in ad-hoc projects across all parts of the editorial operation

This list is not exhaustive. The role is varied and the day-to-day running of The i Paper’s newsroom requires meticulous attention to detail, quick thinking, use of initiative and the ability to multi-task and prioritise.
