Lawson Lundell LLP is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our Vancouver office. The successful candidate is an enthusiastic, hardworking individual who will primarily be responsible for providing support to the Paralegals in the Insolvency department. This role would be a great opportunity for a new graduate or a Junior Legal Assistant. The regular working hours for this role are Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm.
Standard Responsibilities
Printing, photocopying and scanning
Maintain a BF system
Filing, opening and closing files
Online searches (LTSA and PPR)
Online filings through CSO
Drafting correspondences
Other administrative tasks, as required
Qualifications
Legal Assistant certification from an accredited institution will be considered an asset
Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and solve problems in a fast-paced environment
Displays extraordinary customer service in a professional, mature and courteous manner
Detail oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills
Dependable and punctual team player
Exceptional interpersonal skills
Excellent spoken English and composition, spelling, grammar and editing skills
The hiring range for this position is $50,000 - $55,000 annually; the base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, internal and market equity. In addition, we offer a variety of benefits, including:
