Position Summary
The Administrator Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting day-to-day operations for a physician practice managed by MDofficeManager. This role requires mandatory healthcare experience and involves direct interaction with patients, providers, and internal teams.
The ideal candidate will manage front office operations, coordinate patient services, and handle incoming calls, ensuring a seamless and professional experience for all patients and clients.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, visitors, and clients
Answer high-volume inbound calls, addressing patient inquiries, scheduling appointments, and routing calls appropriately
Coordinate patient scheduling, referrals, and follow-ups across providers
Support MDofficeManager’s practice operations by assisting physicians and office leadership
Maintain and update patient records in EMR/EHR systems accurately
Verify insurance coverage and assist with patient billing inquiries
Ensure compliance with HIPAA and company policies
Manage front desk activities including patient check-in and check-out
Handle sensitive patient concerns with professionalism and confidentiality
Assist with administrative reporting, documentation, and office coordination
Required Qualifications
2+ years of healthcare administrative experience (required)
Prior experience in a physician office, clinic, or healthcare setting
Strong experience handling patient calls and front desk responsibilities
Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems (e.g., Epic, eClinicalWorks, or similar)
Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare workflows
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Degree or certification in Healthcare Administration or related field
Experience working with third-party practice management organizations
Experience supporting multiple providers or locations
